David Pfingstgraef, B.Sc., B.Sc.(CD), M.Cl.Sc., Aud(C), CCC-A, Reg. CASLPO
David has provided audiological services in Elgin County and the area for over 25 years. David completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders (Speech Language Pathology and Audiology) from The University of Western Ontario. He then went on to complete a Master of Clinical Science degree in Audiology at The University of Western Ontario. He is a registered audiologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is a Past-President of this regulatory college. He is also a certified member of the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. David is also the regional audiology consultant for the Ontario Ministry’s Infant Hearing Program Southwest Region.
Joanne Parsons, B.Sc.(CD), M.Cl.Sc., Reg. CASLPO
Joanne has provided audiological services in Elgin County for more than 25 years. Joanne obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders (Speech Language Pathology and Audiology) from The University of Western Ontario. She then went on to complete a Master of Clinical Science degree in Audiology at The University of Western Ontario. She is a registered audiologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). Joanne has a particular interest in aural rehabilitation. Joanne provides audiological services at our St. Thomas, Aylmer, and Lambeth clinic locations.
CLINIC ASSOCIATE AUDIOLOGISTS
Shane Moodie, H.B.Sc., B.Ed., M.Cl.Sc., Reg. CASLPO
Shane was previously a faculty member at The University of Western Ontario, serving as a Clinical Lecturer/Supervisor at the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Shane was a research associate with the National Centre for Audiology (NCA), and served as a consultant for the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services’ Infant Hearing Program. Shane obtained his Audiology degree from The University of Western Ontario.
Ioan Curca, Ph.D., M.Cl.Sc., Aud(C), Reg. CASLPO
Ioan graduated from Medical School and the Otolaryngology Internship program in Romania. He obtained his PhD in Medical Sciences with an emphasis on balance disorders. Ioan has his Master of Clinical Science degree in Audiology from The University of Western Ontario. He also completed the Comprehensive Practical Vestibular Assessment Course with the University of Toronto. He is a registered audiologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and certified member of the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. He has been a Research Associate with the National Centre for Audiology since 2010, and is currently a Clinical Lecturer at Western University. Ioan provides audiological services at our clinics in St. Thomas and London on a part-time basis.
